Islamabad—Minister In-charge for National Harmony and Chairman All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) Dr. Paul Bhatti expressing solidarity with the Pakistan Army officers and soldiers buried under the avalanche in Siachen, urged the minorities to pray for their safe recovery.
In his appeal to all Churches and other minorities, Dr. Paul has urged the minorities to extend their wishes and prayers for the safe recovery of the army officers and soldiers.
“We stand with Pakistan army as the minorities always scarified their lives for the safety and protection of our homeland.
Christians serving in the army are performing their duties dutifully as Naveed Masih and Moon Gill are also under the avalanche in Siachen to demonstrate their patriotism and love for the country”, Dr. Paul Said.
He lauded the courage of the families of the army men and showed solidarity with them in the need of hour.
Referring to the services of minoriteis for the country he said Cecil Chaudhry was a Christan who served in Air Force and proved hero in the wars of 1965 and 1971. Government of Pakistan awarded him Sitara-e-Jurat (Star of Courage) for his bravery.
